Welcome to the first annual Kitchen Counter Podcast fundraiser!
Many of you enjoy spending time in your kitchen and know the value of a hot, home-cooked meal. I also know that you like to support your communities and neighbors. That’s why this year I decided to hold my first annual fundraiser for the Kitchen Counter Podcast for an organization I know you will appreciate.
World Central Kitchen was founded in 2010 by Chef José Andrés with a mission to provide hot meals to people who find themselves in the midst of disaster. They are truly a global organization and have conducted relief efforts in the United States, The Bahamas, Columbia, Mozambique, Guatemala, Haiti, and many many more locations.
Rather than have me try to explain it all to you, watch this video featuring many of the amazing people at WCK and the work they do. You can also visit their website to learn more.
The Kitchen Counter Podcast/World Central Kitchen fundraiser has a goal to raise $500 by December 31st.
You can donate through the Kitchen Counter Podcast campaign page at World Central Kitchen. I know times are hard for many people, and I completely understand if you are not able to support the campaign with a donation. If you’d still like to help, you can share the campaign on your social media or among your friends!
