This rub is perfect on pork and brilliant with beef. It's also dang fine on chicken. Fish? Not so much. The recipe provides a good base to experiment with your own ingredient additions as well. I sometimes like to include a bit of ground cloves, allspice or cardamom for an interesting spicy twist. Smoked paprika also fits right in.
