Today on the show I welcome back Leah McGrath, R.D. to have a conversation with me about meal planning and grocery shopping. This stems from a Twitter chat event that Leah hosted for Family Meals Month (which is September) and I thought it would be great to do a similar theme on the show.
Leah is one of my favorite people to talk to about this because she is full of common sense wisdom. She cares deeply about education people on subjects ranging from nutrition, food labeling, consumer understanding of agriculture and a lot more. I never get the sense that Leah is trying to sell me something (mainly because she isn’t), which is my philosophy as well.
While this isn’t an “A to Z” breakdown of meal planning in the traditional sense, it is a great conversation between a couple of friends about feeding your family and managing your time in the supermarket. I think you’ll find a nugget of wisdom or two in this chat, so listen on!
